The Clean Start Initiative is a nonprofit, outreach ministry established to support the family members of incarcerated individuals as well as assisting with the transition of individuals from incarceration to being productive members of our community.
When an individual is incarcerated their families also pay a price. Financial, mental and spiritual stresses impact children and spouses – often times starting a dangerous cycle for the family. The Clean Start Initiative provides support to families during these difficult times. Services include:
The most critical time for an individual being released from incarceration is the first 72 hours of freedom. It is during this time that they can be lured into bad decisions by bad influences in their life. The Clean Start Initiative is there to support, encourage and guide them through this critical stage. But, the work begins well before their release. Our team connects with individuals while they are still incarcerated – forming a mentoring bond that bridges the divide and helps people land on their feet and be productive members of our community.
